William Grady, MD
Dr. William Grady is the Rodger C. Haggitt Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He also serves as:
Professor in the Translational Science and Therapeutics Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center
Co-Head of the GI Cancer Program at the FHCC/University of Washington Comprehensive Cancer Center
Medical Director of the GI Cancer Prevention Program Clinic at FHCC
A board-certified gastroenterologist and molecular biologist, Dr. Grady leads multiple NCI-funded research initiatives, including a Biomarker Characterization Center for the Early Detection Research Network and the Translational Biology of Early Lesions (TBEL) Center. His work focuses on the role of genetic and epigenetic alterations in the early detection and development of esophageal and colorectal cancers.
